Jackson's Chameleons in Hawaii

The story goes that a pet dealer in Kaneohe on Oahu had a batch of Jacksons that sold so well, he got a second larger batch. This shipment wasn't so healthy so he decided to put them out on the property so they could regain their strength... Well funny enough, when he went to retrieve them they weren't there. Now, 40 years later, Jacksons Chameleons are found everywhere on the island. <reference>
